Grapes, thanksgiving and much more!

Happy Thanksgiving!
I can't believe it's Fall already! I love Fall though, the pretty colours, pumpkin spice everything :), and I love Thanksgiving!
Sorry I haven't written, it's been a very eventful two weeks!
A couple Sundays ago, our friends the Cacciacarros performed a wonderful concert called, 'A taste of the Sound of Music' It was lovely! Thank you Cacciacarros!
Mom's birthday also happened! Happy Birthday Mom! And then there's grapes, lots and lots of grapes! As I have mentioned before we have a grape vineyard, and we have been picking like crazy and making lots of things out of grapes, as in pies, juice, and freezing grapes that we can use later in the winter.
Now for pictures! Sorry for bad quality, they are all from an iphone!

The Cacciacarro Girls! You did a great job!

Me on the lawnmower.
The trailer is attached to it so it can hold the grapes.

The concord grape pies.

Our grandpa helped out too!

These are the boys grinding all the grapes to make the juice.

Mom and Dad
Happy Birthday Mom!

Hope you enjoyed the post!

A busy week!

This week has been pretty busy! We got back from vacation a couple weeks ago, and we're still getting into the swing of things! We've been pretty busy with school because we didn't do it when on vacation of course! :) We have grape vine yards at our farm, and we've been picking, canning and juicing grapes, and of course, eating! Other than grapes, we've been canning a few other things too, such as beets and salsa. I love home-made salsa!
This week some of our close friends were moving away to British Columbia. :*( They came to our house early this morning to say good bye and we gave them banana muffins for the drive! I'll miss them.  Now for some pictures!

This is the salsa. Look at the colours!

These are the beets. Such a pretty pink!
